RECYCLING
INFORMATION
The Recycling Center is located behind the
Silver Cliff Town Hall on County I.  

Hours of Operation:
The
first and third Sunday of each month,
10:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

The
second and fourth Wednesday of each
month, 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

CLOSED ALL HOLIDAYS!

The recycling attendant is available during
your visit to make sure your recyclables are
disposed of in the proper manner.

Rules for recycling:  NO TIRES

Newspapers: No bundling, bagging or ties.

Magazines or brochures; anything with
staples, keep separate.  No bundling,
bagging or ties.

Paper Bags and Cardboard:  Flatten.

Glass:  Any color, rinsed, remove
metal/plastic caps or rings.  Labels permitted.

Tin cans:  Rinsed, labels permitted.

Aluminum:  Rinsed and flattened.

Plastic:  Only Number 1's and 2's allowed,
frosted and labels permitted, rinsed.  
Remove plastic caps or rings.

ACCEPTABLE LARGE ITEMS:
Computer towers - laptops - ink cartridges -
appliances - hide-a-beds - box springs -
mattresses - couches - recliners - cell phones
- batteries - electronics - metal.

WE CHARGE $5.00 for any
26 inch or
smaller
size TV's, and $7.00 for bigger than
26 inch.


WE CHARGE $10.00 for air conditioners,
dehumidifiers, refrigerators and freezers - all
doors must be removed.

Automotive oil and batteries are to be taken
to the recycling centers located at Twin
Bridge, Athelstane or Wausaukee sites.

N7785 Shaffer Road:  715-854-7530.
Please refer to their webpage.

PLEASE NOTE:  This is a great service for
the Town of Silver Cliff. Please do not abuse
this service by bringing up items from out of
town.  PLEASE DO NOT DISPOSE OF
THESE ITEMS IN OUR BEAUTIFUL
WOODS.  We all enjoy walking, hiking,
snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and riding
ATV/UTV's in our woods, so let's keep Silver
Cliff beautiful!
